  • Manipulated Media: Deepfakes or misleading edited content without disclosure

Satire, parody, and commentary on misinformation are allowed when clearly labeled. Educational content discussing these topics is also permitted.

  • Mature Themes: Strong language, adult humor, or mature subject matter
  • Violence in Context: Educational or documentary content featuring graphic violence

  • Alcohol & Tobacco: Content featuring substance use (must follow additional guidelines)

How to Age-Restrict Your Content

  1. During Upload Check "Age restriction (18+)" in video settings
  2. After Publishing Go to Video Manager → Edit → Settings → Age restriction

Our AI systems may automatically age-restrict content. If you believe this was done in error, you can request a review.

Sensitive Topics

Educational & Documentary Exceptions

Content covering sensitive topics may be allowed with proper context:

  • Clear Educational Intent: Documentaries, news reporting, academic discussions
  • Appropriate Warnings: Content warnings at the beginning
  • Context Provided: Explanation of why sensitive content is shown
  • Age-Restricted: Properly marked for mature audiences

Reporting Violations

How to Report Content

  1. Click the Three Dots Menu On any video, comment, or post
  2. Select "Report" Choose the appropriate violation category
  3. Provide Details Add timestamp or specific information if relevant
  4. Submit Report Our team will review within 24-48 hours

  • Violent or graphic content
  • Hateful or abusive content
  • Harassment or bullying
  • Harmful or dangerous acts

  • Privacy violation

🆘 Immediate Danger

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first (911 in US, 112 in EU, etc.). Then report to us for platform action.

What Happens After Reporting

Review Process

  1. Initial Assessment (Automated) AI systems flag potential violations immediately
  2. Human Review (24-48 hours) Trained moderators review reported content
  3. Action Taken Content removed, age-restricted, or upheld based on guidelines
  4. Creator Notification Uploader informed of decision and given appeal option

Possible Outcomes

  • Content Removal: Violating content deleted
  • Age Restriction: Content limited to 18+ viewers
  • Strike Issued: Warning added to creator's account
  • Monetization Removed: Video demonetized
  • Account Suspension: Temporary or permanent ban
  • No Violation Found: Content remains unchanged

Appealing a Decision

When You Can Appeal

  • You believe the content doesn't violate guidelines
  • The content has educational, documentary, or artistic merit
  • Context was not properly considered
  • The violation was unintentional and correctable

How to Submit an Appeal

  1. Access Strike Information Go to Settings → Channel Status → View Strike Details
  2. Click "Appeal" Available for each strike within 90 days
  3. Explain Your Case Provide clear reasoning and context (500 characters max)
  4. Submit & Wait Review typically completed within 7 days

Appeal Outcomes

  • Appeal Approved: Strike removed, content reinstated
  • Appeal Denied: Strike remains, no further appeals
  • Partial Success: Strike reduced or content age-restricted instead of removed

  • Cite relevant guideline exceptions (educational, news, etc.)
  • Include timestamps if only part of video is problematic
