2. Search for "Konnect" Tap the search icon and type "Konnect"
3. Download & Install Tap "Get" or the download icon
4. Open Konnect Tap "Open" or find the app on your home screen

2. Search for "Konnect" Use the search bar at the top
3. Install Tap "Install" button
4. Launch App Tap "Open" when installation completes

Signing In

1. Open the App Launch Konnect on your device
2. Tap "Sign In" Or "Get Started" on the welcome screen
3. Choose Sign-In Method Email, Google, Apple ID, or phone number
4. Enter Credentials Follow the prompts for your chosen method
5. Grant Permissions Allow notifications, camera, microphone (as needed)

Playback Controls

• Play/Pause: Tap center of video or use spacebar on external keyboard
• Skip Forward/Back: Double-tap right/left side of video (10 seconds)

Uploading Videos

1. Tap "+" Icon Located in bottom navigation bar
2. Choose "Upload Video" Select from your device's gallery
3. Select Video File Pick video to upload (up to 12 hours long)
4. Edit Video Details Add title, description, thumbnail, tags
5. Choose Visibility Public, Unlisted, or Private
6. Upload Tap "Upload" or "Publish"

Creating Shorts

1. Tap "+" Icon Then select "Create a Short"
2. Record or Upload Record with camera or select existing video (max 60 seconds)
3. Edit Your Short Trim, add music, text, filters, effects
4. Add Audio Choose from library or use original audio
5. Add Captions Automatic captions or manual text overlays
6. Select Thumbnail Choose from auto-generated or custom
7. Add Details & Publish Title, description, audience selection

Data Saving Mode

Reduce mobile data usage while watching videos.

Enabling Data Saver

1. Open Settings Profile → Settings
2. Tap "Data Saving" Toggle on "Data Saver"
3. Choose Settings Videos play at lower quality on cellular

What Data Saver Does

• Reduces video quality to 480p or lower on cellular
• Disables video preloading
• Reduces thumbnail quality
• Can save up to 60% of data usage

Managing Downloads (Premium)

Downloading Videos

1. Tap Download Icon Below the video player (arrow pointing down)
2. Choose Quality Higher quality = more storage space
3. Wait for Download Progress shown in Library → Downloads

Managing Downloaded Videos

• View Downloads: Library → Downloads
• Delete Downloads: Tap three dots → Remove download
• Download Settings: WiFi only, quality, storage location
• Expiration: Downloads expire after 30 days or when video is removed

Smart Downloads

Automatically download recommended videos when connected to WiFi.

• Enable in Settings → Downloads → Smart Downloads
• Choose number of videos (up to 20)
• Videos download overnight while charging
• Old videos automatically deleted

Common Issues & Solutions

App Crashes or Freezes

• Force Close App: Swipe up from app switcher (iOS) or Recent Apps (Android)
• Restart Device: Power off and on
• Update App: Check App Store/Play Store for updates
• Clear Cache: Settings → Apps → Konnect → Clear Cache (Android)
• Reinstall App: Delete and reinstall from store

Videos Won't Play

• Check Connection: Switch between WiFi and cellular
• Lower Quality: Tap settings → Quality → 480p or lower
• Disable VPN: VPNs can interfere with streaming
• Clear App Cache: Settings → Clear cache
• Update App: Ensure you have latest version

Can't Sign In

• Check Credentials: Verify email/password is correct
• Reset Password: Use "Forgot Password" link
• Try Different Method: Sign in with Google/Apple instead
• Check Account Status: Account may be suspended
• Update App: Older versions may have sign-in issues

Upload Failing

• Use WiFi: More stable for large uploads
• Check File Size: Videos can be any size (unlimited)
• Check File Format: MP4, MOV, AVI supported
• Free Up Storage: Ensure device has enough space
• Update App: Latest version has bug fixes

Battery Draining Fast

• Enable Data Saver: Reduces battery usage
• Lower Brightness: Screen uses most battery
• Use Audio Mode: For music/podcasts
